The Mosquito League Education Program is available to all 5th-grade students across Los Angeles County within District boundaries. For the District's boundary map, please click here.
No, but the staff filling out the reservation form will be the main point of contact. If we have additional questions regarding the reservation, we will reach out to the contact on the reservation form.
You can reserve up to three (3) classes per day. If you like to reserve more than three (3) classes, please reserve a second day. The maximum number of visits per school is two (2) days.
No. Unfortunately, classes cannot be combined due to limited space in the mobile unit and the safety of the students.
We recommend reserving two (2) consecutive days and dedicating two (2) classes per day.
Yes, after making a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email will also provide a link to change or cancel your reservation.
We ask the teacher to provide access to a classroom projector. Our staff will bring the necessary equipment and materials for the program. Students only need a pencil.
The Mosquito League Mobile Unit will need to be parked on blacktop or concrete pavement inside the school property.
Yes, the Mosquito League mobile unit is available for S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) events and after-school events. Please check our calendar for availability and fill out the after-school reservation form. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at TeamEducation@GLAmosquito.org.
Yes, however, you can only request our Mobile Unit for weekend events if your event is S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) related. For non-STEAM-related events, our Communications Department can provide a table display for your event.
